  • Nick Stamos

    Nick Stamos

    Nick is the Chief Executive Officer of Rakuten Intelligence and brings a global background in data and analytics, mobile, fintech, and consumer products and services.

    Prior to joining Rakuten Intelligence, Nick was the founder and CEO of Sindeo, a mortgage marketplace originating consumer residential mortgages in 12 states that was acquired by Renren (RENN) in 2017.

    Before starting Sindeo, Nick was the Senior Vice President at The Nielsen Company (NLSN), where he led the launch of Nielsen’s mobile business outside of North America.  Nick came to Nielsen by way of the firm’s 2007 acquisition of mobile analytics firm Telephia where as a founding team member Nick was involved in the development and management of the company’s strategy, products, marketing and commercial efforts, and corporate development activities.

    Prior to joining Telephia, Nick spent 8 years in consulting at Swander, Pace & Company and Braxton Associates, primarily working with consumer packaged goods manufacturer and retailer clients.  Over the course of his consulting career, Nick developed broad engagement experience in new product development, competitive assessment and benchmarking, channel and sales force management, and mergers & acquisitions.

    Nick was born and raised in Syracuse New York and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with an Economics minor from MIT. He is a first generation Greek-American and loves Syracuse University sports and traveling the world with his wife Alyson and two young daughters.  

  • Paul Brody

    Paul Brody

    Paul is the Chief Technical Officer of Rakuten Intelligence, where he oversees the technology that underlies the company’s innovative measurement methodologies. He is passionate about building products people love that leverage data, mobile and cloud technologies and is a named inventor on 29 issued patents.

    Prior to joining Rakuten, Paul was the Chief Product Officer for CleverTap, focused on delivering new innovations in behavioral analytics and marketing automation to mobile developers and marketers.

    Before CleverTap, Paul was the co-founder and CEO of Sococo where he pioneered a new paradigm in online communications for business. Sococo's flagship product, Team Space, had a global customer base that included Fortune 100 companies, won multiple industry awards, and led the industry in user engagement.  

    Paul has also served as Vice President of Products for Yahoo! where he oversaw products such as Yahoo! Groups with over 100 million users worldwide and Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering for InterTrust Technologies where he was instrumental in pioneering the development and growth of digital rights management technology.

    Paul has a Bachelor degree and Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, running, and skiing. 

  • John Forese

    John Forese

    John Forese is Chief Product and Data Officer at Rakuten Intelligence, where he oversees the development of products and services built on Rakuten Intelligence’s industry leading e-commerce data.

    John brings a wealth of experience creating successful analytics and data businesses. Most recently, John was senior vice president and head of premium services at Ticketmaster, launching data and marketing solutions that were used by hundreds of live entertainment brands, artists, venues and sponsors, including more than half of the teams across the four major sports leagues. These services included BlueDigital: a boutique digital marketing agency; Pricemaster: a groundbreaking dynamic pricing tool; and LiveAnalytics: a fan analytics, insights and predictive modeling service.

    Prior to Ticketmaster, John was an early innovator in mobile analytics. The products he developed at Telephia and Nielsen were among the first and most successful forays into measuring mobile media. He’s also recognized for his management of those companies; as part of the leadership team that sold Telephia to Nielsen, and as CEO of mobile analytics company Motally, acquired by Nokia.

    John began his career as a management consultant. He earned his MBA from Stanford Business School and completed his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Princeton University.

  • Chris Lin

    Chris Lin

    Chris Lin is the General Counsel, Chief Privacy and Administrative Officer for Rakuten Intelligence, overseeing legal, privacy, and security matters for the company. Her career, spanning over 15 years, involves creating solutions that build on a deep knowledge of data privacy, corporate transactions, business operations and the law to help capitalize on the ever-changing possibilities of technology, media, and big data.

    Prior to joining Rakuten Intelligence, she served as a partner at OutsideGC, a firm that provides virtual general counsel services to start-up technology companies, and a venture partner with NextGen Venture Partners, a network-driven venture firm that brings together part-time venture capitalists who invest in and support NextGen’s portfolio of entrepreneurs.

    Chris’ rise as a legal business partner and company executive began as an early member of comScore’s leadership team. Recruited in 2001 to the Virginia-based start-up, she joined in its founders belief that internet-driven connectivity and media digitization could revolutionize traditional market research and analytics. As General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, Chris helped establish, build, and steer comScore’s steady expansion in responsible data commercialization. During her tenure, the company grew from a pre-IPO Series B start-up to a $450 million public company with commercial interests across Europe, APAC, and the Americas.

    Chris is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the International Association of Privacy Professionals, as well as the Virginia, New York, and Washington, DC bar associations. She holds a juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, and an Bachelor degree from Yale University.

  • Greg Lederman

    Greg Lederman

    Greg Lederman is Co-Head of Financial Services at Rakuten Intelligence, leading the financial services strategy and business development efforts. As a founder of Aviso Partners, his expertise in sales and product development in the investment management industry were critical drivers behind the acquisition of the company in 2018.

    Prior to co-founding Aviso Partners, Greg was managing director and head of institutional research sales for Investment Technology Group (NYSE: ITG) having joined the company through the $60mm acquisition of his prior company Majestic Research in 2010. In his role at ITG, he was responsible for overseeing the sales strategy, management and operations of the team. Before the acquisition of Majestic Research, Greg was head of sales and a member of the executive management team. He was responsible for leading all institutional sales efforts which resulted in revenue growth over 300% during his tenure. Prior to joining Majestic Research, Greg worked at TheStreet.com and Brown Brothers Harriman where he held numerous roles in sales, operations and analytics.

    Greg graduated Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, boating, tinkering and spending time with his wife and kids.

  • Jaimee Minney14

    Jaimee Minney

    Jaimee Minney is the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Rakuten Intelligence, overseeing all marketing, communications, and branding initiatives for the company.

    Before working with Rakuten Intelligence, she was Senior Director, Public Relations for Rhapsody International. There, Jaimee revived the original streaming service’s perception in the press and marketplace with a focus on executive positioning, partner communications, and industry education. Working closely with music artists and labels, Jaimee built programs that strengthened Rhapsody’s brand, while building the service’s strength as a promotional platform for artists. In addition, she led and directed the company’s communication strategy surrounding the Napster acquisition and its subsequent European launch, overseeing all global communications.

    Jaimee’s first foray into media measurement was as Vice President, Corporate Communications at M:Metrics, a mobile media measurement firm that was acquired by comScore, Inc. Jaimee architected public relations strategies, positioning the young company as the leading, authoritative source on mobile media.

    Jaimee began her career in public relations on the agency side specializing in the mobile, telecom, and venture capital industries.

    Jaimee received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Public Relations from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Drake University, graduating Magna cum Laude with departmental honors.

    A music lover, Jaimee enjoys seeing her favorite bands as often as possible. She is also an outdoors enthusiast and amateur chef.

  • Joseph Tawfik

    Joseph Tawfik

    Joseph Tawfik is the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Rakuten Intelligence, handling all financial needs and strategies for the company. In his 15 year career, he has demonstrated success leading organizations through growth and transformation.

    Before joining Rakuten Intelligence, Joseph was the Director of Corporate FP&A for ServiceSource, where he built a high-performance team to drive a corporate turnaround. Here, he worked with senior leaders to drive visibility into the business and improve operating efficiency, earning the CEO Award of Distinction as one of the top employees.

    As Director of Finance for PEER 1 Cloud Hosting, Joseph led FP&A and sales operation functions, helping to grow revenue through 20 global sites and facilitate a successful exit through acquisition.

    Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics at The University of British Columbia as well as a Master of Science in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
